💬 Thank you for sharing your positivity with me when I asked for some last week. So much love. I kinda want to share the one that helped me the most and it was on the theme of small victories. I realise I give myself quite a hard time when I can't complete the smaller, perhaps "normal" and mundane stuff in life. If I haven't done the washing that's piling up on the sofa then I beat myself up about it. I didn't hoover this week and the dog hair is building up. Fuck, I need to go to the shop. Why can't I ever manage my time? But the real and most challenging one for me is making food. I wouldn't say I've got an issue with food, or that I struggle overall with my body image, but lately I've found cooking for myself incredibly challenging. I'd argue that it's because I feel tired a lot of the time and because I work full time and because I rescue dogs, I've just not got the headspace to think about it. Well, it turns out that this is quite common, and a lovely subscriber shared with me that they also struggle with this. We celebrated together when they told me they were managing to cook and because of this, I made myself dinner last night despite being fucking exhausted and wanting to order in. I cooked vegan burgers and they were delicious. I'm hoping I can go the whole week without eating out or ordering in. Thank you for sharing love and light with me, it's inspired me for this week. ❤️
