Today I was featured in one big newspaper in Finland, Turun Sanomat. It is quite conservative and traditional newspaper so I was thrilled they were interested on making an article about me, my burlesque and my kinky identity. The article itself tells my story from the beginning of Sassy and how I got into burlesque 5-6 ye4rs ago. It also showcases how I was bullied for being extra and being sexually active as a teenager. She listened and understood what I wanted to say and who I am. She wrote about my kinky side the way it should be written, of course there is a lot of question to be risen so I am here to answer if someone needs to know more. I am openly kinky and I am not afraid to talk about my fetishes, my identity and how I see the world. Why I wanted to make this interview was to shine the light on kinky people and us who do burlesque a bit differently than what the main image in media is. I am not only gothic so to say kinklesque artist so I think it is nice to be the voice for us. The text itself presents me the way I am, but the pictures are a bit horrible. They do not show me the way I am and they do not do justice for my art or the whole field of burlesque/modeling. But it is what it is. I understand what the paper wanted to show with the photos, but it is not just me seeing them in a bad light, my phone has been filled with messages about them all morning.
