It doesn't necessarily make me uncomfortable but I find the dynamic difficult to navigate especially when initiating the first payment. I don't like my time being wasted so I usually ask for a tribute up front but this derails the conversation and a relationship rarely blossoms. Surely if you're approaching someone you want as your own baby you'd be confident? I understand the skepticism and nobody wants their money wasted but I often find that respect doesn't go both ways. Anyone got thoughts? I suppose this could also be applied to GFE so if you've got experience or have opinions lemme know!
